Kenya Operations
Our operations in Kenya will be spearheaded by quarterly community empowerment training symposia. These will be based on the framework of good governance, economic empowerment and entrepreneurship. At the completion the quarterly events, a select group of awardees numbering between 10 and 20 share an entrepreneurial seeding capital totaling $10,000. The awardees are subsequently contracted to our Mkataba Wa Mwananchi Wa Kenya™ (The Kenyan Citizenry Contract) pact for a period of 5 years so as to aid in achieving KCEP’s overall objectives, and to scale them to new heights.
In the meantime, we are still working on the exact modalities for our special programmes which will be shared with our beneficiaries through this medium:
For all these programmes, we will actively collaborate with other stakeholders as government institutions and other community based organisations (CBOs) to effectively drive our common objectives for the sole benefit of the large Kenyan community. Critical to these operations will be the implementations of e-governance systems where still lacking, and formulating their efficient use in locations where they have already been implemented. As for our quarterly symposia events, we have conceived a 10 year programme which will be run in 3 phases. Every symposium event will consist of two community meetings targeting a specific county over a two-month period. The first of those meetings will cover training. We envisage inviting about 100 prospective community members for these initial meetings. The final event meeting will consist of about 20 community members whose business proposals present the highest potential of growth and community development. The event process will mostly cover KCEP’s awardee graduation mechanism and the formulation of our Mkataba Wa Mwananchi Wa Kenya™ (The Kenyan Citizenry Contract). Education and sports programmes

US Operations
Whereas our prime objective of economic empowerment of the Kenyan community will be extended in the diaspora, the methodologies in the target areas will be unique to the relevant environments. In the US, KCEP aims to fully integrate with local chapter organisations in addressing and achieving our mutual objectives as one of the minority groups. We will specifically integrate into the large African American family with a view of forging a common front for our respective communities’ development needs.
The basis of the intended intercultural engagements emanates from the communities’ common challenges covered in our founder’s book - Reflecting on America’ First Black President: An African Perspective of Global Events Critical to the Overall Black History. He later expounded on these very common developmental challenges in an article addressing a genuine question - Why is the African American Dollar Missing in Africa? Key areas where KCEP will be engaged in the US:
